..will aim not to be a "NEW" me this new year, but a "NEXT LEVEL" me! ;)

My year - ender entry, so I hope 2012 will just be awwwzum. :>
So how did everyone celebrate Christmas? I know everyone had fun especially when they receive Christmas presents from their loved ones! But I bet everyone is much more excited for the coming New Year! Seems like it'll be a good start to make a new beginning too huh?!

Few hours before officially start the 2012, I was just lying in our sofa reminiscing all the things that happened to me during this year. 2011 was really incredible. A lot of things happened to me that I really didn't expect. There were NO REGRETS, BUTs and WHAT IFs. It was like 'living, loving and laughing' my life to the fullest. But the chapter for 2011 is nearly closed, and the chapter for 2012 has started.

2011 is a whole year of endless possibilities, a lot of them massively awesome surprises, birthday celebrations, a few drunken moments, the most ridiculous adventures, 'galaan' bonding moments,  living like a rockstars and a tad bid of (good?) shameful moments that I will forever remember. 2011 has been an unending ride on a rollercoaster life.  Besides the given ups and downs, there have been so many memorable firsts as well as a couple of lasts. I've made new friends, new experiences and new opportunities.
This year has proven to be a year full of surprises and blessings - GOD has truly provided for me this year. Thank you Lord God!! :) I've gotten to know a lot of people on a whole new level this year - from merely acquaintances to friends for keeps! :) I know distance got nothin' on us. Thanks guys! :D To my dearly family that been a really important part of my life, all my success and pride are with you. Without your patience and guidance, I won't be the person I am now. You love me unconditionally and it will never dry up. My family and friends that I will treasure forever, YOU'RE ACTUALLY THE BULK OF MY 2011 HAPPINESS!!! :D **Haha :)) sooo much drama for me!! but this one I actually feel**

This year, I didn't ask God for anything more than what I needed yet he gave me things that helped me be a better person. I can't believe how much I've grown in the past year. My mistakes have thought me humility, my triumphs gave me pride, and my loved ones taught me balance. You'll never get anywhere being perfect. So thank you life for being such an ASS sometimes. People forget we need it.

I'm excited for 2012. I just know I've finally ended one ridiculously long chapter of my life and I'm hella ready to start this new one with an awesome introduction. If the last couple of hours of 2012 gonna serves a teaser for the year that is to come, I'm totally stoked!! :))

To everyone who's been a part of my 2011, the good and the bad, through the sweet, the sour, and the bitterness but mostly the SWEETNESS!! of our shared experiences, Thank you! From every part of my heart  and not just the bottom. Thanks! :D

Cheers twenty twelve!! Let's all welcome it with a BANG!!!

Just good vibes for everyone! HAPPY NEW YEAR!! ^-^ BRING IT ON 2012!! :))

I love you, Dog!! :3

Introducing......Chi-chi!!!
The youngest member of the family. LOVABLE chichi.
Because we find her cute and lovable, I'll introduce you to my dog and her named is "CHI-CHI". Since it's her birth month, I just give this one page post just for her. Happy 8th birthday!! and counting. :)))

Her breed is a toy poodle. She wants people around. She cries whenever she sees no one in there. T.T Ooh, and she's too small for her age.

She's a very sweet, "malambing" dog. Whenever I'm around, she always make a cute puppy look just to make me go near her.

She'll always jump on my lap whenever she has a chance. She's also a jealous one! Haha! Whenever there someone coming near me she always bark as loud as she wants to those people. Haha! :)) She only wants the attention to herself *Spoiled dog!!*

Whenever I have free time, I'll make sure to have time to play and bond with her, which I enjoy! :D

SOOOO there...Here are some of her funny, cute pictures and our moments together.
This is my dog. I love her dearly. We sleep in the same bed and she loves staying under sheets with her own pillow. She jumps really high and can do drifts! She barks really loudly. I'm her first line master *of course! * and my mom is just second in line as being her boss. Hehe :P She waits for me patiently every time I slept late but sometimes she couldn't help but go to bed first. When she's naughty, super "makulit" and make something bad I punish her. Believe me she does not go near me at all unless I called her. Except , well she shivers cause of fear. However, she says sorry after doing something bad with those teary, puffy beady black eyes. She helps relieve my stress, her eyes, wagging tail and company makes me happy and bring simple joys to our family, my living canvas. Whenever I had a bad day, she simply stares at me or sits beside me. Once in a while, she would lick my hand as if she's telling me that 'It's okay!'. She gives me that look and never fails to brighten my day.

I love and respect chi-chi just like the other animals. They are capable of loving us more than we do, I know because my dog loves me and my family. Our dog, never fails to put a smile in our face. I'm glad, I have a dog! :D

My Bucket List

But, who cares everybody deserves a break right?!? (I wanna eat KitKat!! Huh?! Hehe!) And, as for me, I consider this as my so-called break, freeing all the gushing thoughts twirling in my mind, writing I mean. So, what topic shall I open for this blog entry?! Uhmmmm....Let me think....Lalalalalala!!

Sitting in front of my lappy and staring at this blank page, I started dreaming and thinking about what things I'd put in my "BUCKET LIST". Some of these may seem very selfish, but a 'bucket list' is really not meant to be altruistic; it's a list of things YOU really want to do before you die. Don't know what to write..I'll just write a list..My Bucket list!

"WHAT I DO TODAY IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE I AM EXCHANGING A DAY OF MY LIFE FOR IT." - Hugh Mulligan

**Do bungee jumping. =) Swear!! That's my ultimate dream. I like to experience the wonderful feeling of being free by falling off a really really high place. Haha!

**Go to Europe/Paris. I totally adore this place!! It's just so clean and nice and beautiful! Extremely stunning. (Problem: Where to get the money?? Show me the mo-ney! Haha! Someday I will be there! *crossed fingers**

**Win the lottery, a big lottery. Is there anybody else who doesn't want lot of money and hitting the jackpot??

**Pursue my passion and turn it into a career.

**Have a family someday or as said meet the special man who will make my heart melts. Just wanna feel special. Just wanna be loved by someone other than my family and friends...shocks!!! Mushy!! Drama!! Lalalalala...still waiting!! Where art thou?!?! Hey, hear me out!! Haha. Chos!! :P

**Go sky diving.

**Swim with and hug a dolphin.

**Stare a shark in the face. As if I can do it!! But I want to!!

**Watch live of a NBA game. Of course with the Lakers game. I'm a die hard fan!! I want to hug, see and take picture with Kobe!! Wooohh!! :))

**I'd like to have my own brand new car and enjoy all that goes along with that. I would not prefer a luxury vehicle FOR NOW. Reality check!! Maybe when I became a millionaire I'll have one. LOL Just an ordinary car or a small SUV would be fine.

**Play dress up and wear all the clothes from known fashion brands and have a photoshoot.

**Visit at least once all the Seven wonders of the world.

**Change someones life for a better and be a source of inspiration for those who want to live an unconventional life.

So that's some of MY BUCKET LIST. Whaddaya think?? That's what's in my head at the moment...of course there are lots of things I wanna do but, I think these things tops off the list....Time can tell! Just sharing! :3

Never Date a Writer

Just want to share this piece of article to you guys!

NEVER DATE A WRITER by xstephens

Never date a writer because she'll fictionalize everything. She'll write about things you have done to her, or things you never did for her. She'll write about how you never bought her flowers. Not once. She'll say in well-constructed prose how the whole time you were together, she never came home from a long week to see a vase full of roses, or diaries, or anything.

She'll describe times you embarrassed her, like at a party. It was her party because she was leaving for three months, and all her friends were there to see her off. People bought her champagne, which was never chilled, but you drank it anyway and that was after you had whiskey. She'll talk about how you played strip poker with others. And she walked in to see your clothes bunched up on the floor, next to smashed cigarette butts. She'll say how she had to cover you with a coat because all her friends laughed about it, and so did you. Then, she'll describe how later, when she didn't want to leave you and she wanted to be held, she heard you vomit in the bathroom. She'll say how she had to make sure you were still alive and how she saw your faced pressed against the toilet and how your legs shook on the tile. And she said your name and asked if you were okay and you just stared at her through half opened eyelids and looked away. She'll say she couldn't make love to you and she had to stay up and make coffee, before you took her to the airport.

She'll continue this emphasis on what had you done to her, by describing things she had found, but said nothing about. Like when she opened your wallet to slide twenty dollars inside, because you had bought her dinner. She'll say how she sat on the hardwood floor where the heat couldn't reach and she shivered. She'll explain the condom she found, and how it was lubricated and had small writing on the package she couldn't see because her eyes watered. She'll talk about the note she found from a girl she didn't know but you did because in the scribbled handwriting she could make out your name. You were asleep on the bed and she was on the floor. She'll tell the reader how she held her legs and tapped her chin against her knee. And she decided that it's not wrong from men to have friends, because all men have friends, so she closed the wallet and slept without a blanket on the floor.

She'll later describe the moment in the bedroom when she sat at the foot of the bed and you kneeled in front of her. She'll give you short choppy dialogue, so that you sound distant. She'll tell the reader how you said it's not that you didn't  love her but you couldn't be with her and that it's more your fault than hers, except she'll tell it much more compellingly. She'll describe how she choked on her tears and tried not to vomit right in front of you. And how she looked at the poster on the wall, the one she bought for you and how the different colors turned together when you spoke. She'll say how the bed you had brought from your place felt like steel and she couldn't move because her legs were welded there and she could only listen to you and watch the colors of the room turn gray.

And she'll send you manuscript and you'll be on the couch where you both had sat and you'll read every word. You'll notice she didn't tell things, like the time you had to see her because she had been sick with the flu and unable to get out of bed. And you ran from the campus to her apartment to make sure she was okay. You ran in the dark and there was so much snow that your legs began to freeze. And she won't tell the reader how you didn't have gloves or good shoes and you couldn't see the patch of ice and you slipped. She won't tell them you slipped. You twisted your ankle and your face landed in a snow bank. She won't describe the taste in your mouth, how you pulled yourself up and limped up to her apartment. You used the key she'd just given you and she won't say how nice it was being able to enter unannounced. And she won't say how good it was to see her asleep and that you kissed her on the top of her head and staggered home. She won't move into your head and explain how much you really loved her. How you almost started to cry when you walked. You shook from the wind but felt safe because she was.

You'll sit alone on that couch where you made love to her and you won't move and the glass of whiskey on the table will not be touched. You won't get up to turn up the lights and you won't get up to use the restroom even though you have to. You'll sit in the dim of your living room. And you will read.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This sounds like a sound advice. This one is a lovely piece. I like it. Did you?? However, it is turning tables and reminding us all what it's like to be on the other side. Since, I'm fond of writing it made me think about the way I write about my feelings, experiences, about the people in my own life, what I choose to include and what I "forget" to take in. But, while reading this I just notice - "she". What if the writer is a guy? Just a thought! Anyway, why people shouldn't date a writer?? - Because they can 'eviscerate you in fiction. Every single pimple. every character flaw..you will be naked for eternity. - G. Chaucer"

TIME GOES BY...

"Time isn't what makes friendship last. It's love and devotion that keeps the tie between the souls."

One Friday afternoon (Nov. 18, 2011) our friend, Clang told us that she has a surprise with us! We really make weird guesses like we're playing pinoy henyo asking her, "Tao ba to?" "Pagkain ba to?" "Baboy ba to?" and everything. Then, BOOM!!! as we walked we were so shock and surprised when we see Bobby and Paige.

Finally, after almost four months of not seeing each other! Here they are making time to see us. We were like little children hugging freely inspite of those people keep on looking on us! Bobby is overwhelmed with our reactions when we saw them because we all turn red and excited! Hahaha
From Left to right: Clang, Bobby, Angie, Paige, Me and Mommy Gina!
Since, its lunch time we decided to eat at Jollibee and of course, "kwento", laughing and telling each other stories is also really a part of that day. I enjoyed the meal, but I was in heaven with the company and conversations most! It was good to just sit down there and reminisce about our past "kalokohans" and talk about different things like our next bonding day and even some hot issues and many more.
7 of us here. But since there's no one who will take our picture. Bobby do the honor.
Bern, Clang, Angie, Mommy Gina, Paige, and me.
So, obviously we didn't take as many photographs as we should have. That's what happens when I just enjoy myself. These are the kinds of moments that I love.
From Left to Right: Bern, Bobby, Paige, Me, Mommy Gina and Clang
And to end this blog post, it is important to surround yourself with people who you can trust, inspire you, are supportive (optimistic) and are REAL! God bless us! Hope to meet this people again soon! :))

R.I.P Steve Jobs

As I got home, my sister gives me a shocking news that Steve Jobs who is the person behind the great technology APPLE who made my all time favorite gadgets like Ipod, Mac, Itouch, Ipad, Iphone, etc. was already passed away! I'm so shocked with the news since I'm not so updated with events lately because I'm busy doing some stuffs for myself.

So, to know more about what's the real reason of Steve Jobs death I open my laptop and open my browser and see its the headline. I saw many stories and pictures of him. We all know that Steve Jobs changed the way people interact with computers. He changed what people expect of software and technology and how the two become one. Really, he changed the world!!! He gives great contribution in world of computer, gadgets and technology.

As I keep on browsing some websites that tackles about his death. His words that are being quoted you will know how he understood people. He loved his job. He affected the lives of millions and changed the industries forever. "Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of APPLE." are the words stated in Apple's website.

There this quote that keep striking me.

...There is no reason not to follow your heart...these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important... - Steve Jobs

He figured out technology, he figured out life. Amazing is an understatement. Now that's a life well lived. He will always be remember as a great man and great innovator of my generation.

Simple bliss equals to simple pleasures…..

Life is filled with a lot of pressures, but the best are those SIMPLE and FREE; FELT and UNSEEN. These gifts of life are come in different ways and have different effects to us and sometimes subconsciously we take great pleasure in this simple ways.

As extraordinary individuals, we all have our own "weird", strange and crazy source of simple joys. Just when you thought that you were the only one enjoying such, you might find yourself surprised in sharing the same kind of happiness with others too.

Give joy, Spread love and cheers to positive vibes!!

A few of my simple joys:
*Cakes.
*Chocolates.
*Ice cream.
*Coffee. (But not the hot one)
*Movies. (I'm a movie buff)
*Dogs/Puppies
*A wonderful dream
*Finding money which I remember where I kept.
*Reading an old letter from friends.
*The very sight of light from window as I wake up.
*A good laugh.
*A short eye contact with someone I find interesting.
*Sunshine after the rain.
*Communicating with friend with just staring. :)
*Being with my friends.
*Spending time with people I love.
*SLEEP! The best!
*Food. You name it, except yung kadiri at di ko talaga kinakain. Hehe!
*A hearty conversation with friends.
*A good photograph.
*Being with my loved ones.

--> That pretty much wraps everything up!!!!

A Liter of Light

No one really associates a plastic bottle with a lighting bulb. However, Isang Litrong Liwanag ("A Liter of Light") a Philippines based-program aims in bringing free indoor lighting to some of the country poorest residents.

This is simple, cheap, and unbelievably effective idea. This is brilliant. I am amazed. A simple innovation - using water, bleach, one liter soft drink plastic bottle, and some epoxy, sealed into the roof becomes a natural solar light bulb. Once it's all done the refracted light is powerful enough to brighten up home.

Take a moment to watch the resourcefulness and innovation of a Pinoy. Love this nice mini-docu. The video says it all, and you'll be surprised at how bright the "bulb" is.

I hope this A Liter of Light campaign will reach those remote areas which lacks or does not have access or supply of electricity.

You can also visit their Facebook Page and check out their website. SPREAD THE WORD!!

Silence of Love

This one is too sad! A very touching video.

This shows how the father's love their children silently but perfectly. Appreciate what you have. Say to your parents that you love them!

Story of a Mother's Sacrifice during the Japanese Earthquake!

Spare some time to read this! This one made me cry, a very touching story.
This is a true story of Mother's sacrifice during the Japan earthquake.

After the earthquake has subsided, when the rescuers reached the ruins of a young woman's house, they saw her dead body through the cracks. But her pose was somehow strange that she knelt on her knees like aperson was worshiping; her body was leaning forward, and her two hands were supporting by an object. The collapsed house had crashed her back and her head.

With so many difficulties, the leader of the rescuer team put his hand through a narrow gap on the wall to reach the woman's body. He was hoping that this woman could be still alive. However, the cold and stiff body told him that she had passed away for sure.

He and the rest of team left this house and were going to search the next collapsed building. For some reasons, the team leader was driven by a compelling force to go back to ruin house of the dead woman. Again, he knelt down and used his had through the narrow cracks to search the little space under the dead body. Suddenly, he screamed with excitement, "A child! There is a child!".

The whole team worked together; carefully they removed the piles of ruined objects around the dead woman. There was a 3 months old little boy wrapped in a flowery blanket under his mother's dead body. Obviously, the woman had made an ultimate sacrifice for saving her son. When her house was falling, she used her body to make a cover to protect her son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up.

The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said, "If you can survive, you must remember that I love you." This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Every body that read the message wept. "If you can survive, you must remember that I love you." Such is the mother's love for her child!!

Miss Universe 2011: Miss Philippines, almost there!!

This morning, most of the Filipinos all over the world will again be glued in front of the television to watch the annual Miss Universe pageant which is broadcasted in ABSCBN Channel 2 Live in Sao Paolo, Brazil. Not just Filipinos but also other human nationality. Maybe.
Good news is, this year, we don't just have to rely on what we think or what we believe and what we could do more than just hope and pray. By just a click of a button, we could automatically place her as one of the 15 semifinalist. Good news that Shamcey Supsup is leading the online poll. As the online polls proliferated, she was number 1 in all voting systems there are. When she appeared in the main pageant, she projects grace, natural poise, sexiness and elegance, her confidence sharpened, her body more toned and her gesture more fit for a modern day beauty queen. She is most confident in the Question and Answer portion. To trace back, she lives as one of the smartest, graduating with honors "magna cumlaude" from the very prestigious University of the Philippines. After all, she topped the national architectural board.
So when  the TOP 16 was named, Shamcey was called 14th in the Top 16. All of a sudden, I felt proud. I surprised the way she walked the stage when she continued on the swimsuit competition. So sharp that the Latina early favorites were wiped out.
Shamcey was able to pick the judge Viviene Fox's name who threw her the most difficult question. The question: "Would you change your religious beliefs to marry the person you love?" Shamcey answered, "If I had to change my religious beliefs, I will not marry the person I love. Because the 1st person that I love is God who created me. And I have my faith, my principles and this is what makes me who I am. And if that person loves me, should love my God too."

I was expecting nothing less than First runner-up. But when the results came, she was called Third runner-up. The crowned Miss Universe is Miss Angola.

Not so contented about the results but nevertheless, I'm happy. Although in my opinion, she deserves better than 3rd runner up. I wished that she must be the 1st runner-up. Well, Miss Angola deserves it to be the Miss Universe 2011 as the judges finally mark her as one.

Shamcey Supsup may not have bagged the elusive international beauty title but to a lot of Filipinos, she still is  a true winner. Lovely job! Congratulations! You made the Philippines proud!

Ritratto: Northern Lands Roadtrip adventure

From 7am it's about to take almost 6 hours trip going to beautiful Northern Lands with my super friend(s). Sakit sa pwet fest sa pag-upo for 6 hours!
Me and my best buddy friend plan to went to the province of Pangasinan to visit the church of OUR LADY OF MANAOAG. Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of Manaoag is a title given to the Blessed Virgin Mary, she is the patroness of the sick, the helpless and the needy. The church is one of the Philippines most widely visited Roman Catholic pilgrimage sites. Many people from across the Philippines come and visit the town of Manaoag, where the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary enshrined in a church dedicated to this name. It is located Manaoag, Pangasinan about 200 kilometers from Manila.

One of the places that wow as inside the Manaoag Church is the Our Lady of Manaoag Rosary Garden. This is one of the peaceful place you could found in the church grounds of Our Lady of Manaoag. This is a real garden with a purpose, were you could find life-sized statues of Jesus Christ and Mama Mary will transport you back to the life of Christ. This garden has a perfect landscape and the plants and flowers are perfectly care by the "manangs" and "manongs". Another feature is an imposing waterfall with a large fishpond and a fountain in the center of the garden.

This garden also welcome pilgrims with its green lush surrounding. There are also big gazebos that provide shade and serve as sitting and rest area. So when you are planning to go to Manaoag, please do visit this garden and together with your family and loves one pray the rosary and say your prayers and petitions to Lord Jesus Christ and Mama Mary.
There's also a spot there where you can light your candles and offer prayers for your special intentions.

This experience for me is all first time experience because I don't go to far places or out of towns plans like this without the company of my parents but since I think I'm old enough to have this kind of adventure. Just wanna share you guys some of my thoughts and my photos with my friend.

First time out of town-ing with friend.
Long hours travel trip.
Commute. Bus.
Bipolar weather.
Road trip. Adventures.
Prayers. Church.
Craziness. Bad hair day.
Foods. Kwentos.
Laughs. Loud noises.
Wasted. Pictures.
Nature. Garden.

It was a great day to start the weekend for us to renew and refresh our mind, body and soul. Did so many things! Always nice to get away from the city even just for a bit. Fall in love with the nature. Strong breeze feels sooooooo refreshing! We all just need some fresh air!

A lot of things happened but these are the highlights. :D Well, at least those that had pictures. What a tiring but very HAPPY DAY!! :)) A couple of snaps from our trip. Thank you Lord for this day well spent!! Nevertheless, I ENJOYED THE WHOLE DAY...
